WRAP UP

Now that school is out for the summer, I can finally get a good night's sleep again!  This past school year has been a stressful one.  Getting a good night's sleep was something I had only daydreamed about!  But now that it's summer and this crazy year is over, I hope to have many more restful nights, with no more stress!

This year started with only a few students with documented special needs of some kind.  The year ended with many more documented special needs.  It took my partner teacher and I a great deal of hard work to identify why our students were struggling so much, and then jump through hoop after hoop to get our students help for their area of difficulty.  It was a lot of work, caused a lot of sleepless nights, but I can sleep better now knowing that I did everything I could to help them.

Third grade was quite an adventure!  I really enjoyed team teaching with my very awesome partner!  We are going to different grades next year, but I'm really grateful to have worked with her for two years!  We made a great team, and will continue to be great friends!

Now I will relax and enjoy my summer!  I also look forward to moving back down to First Grade!

REMODEL 3: Laundry Closet

This week the Master Suite Remodel at my house centered on the new Laundry Closet in the Master Bath and Master Bedroom Fireplace!

The Master Bath had two vanities, one long and one short.  Since the second one never gets used, it makes a great location for a stackable washer and dryer!  But who wants to see a washer and dryer in their bathroom!  A special closet to hide them is in order!  We have a regular laundry room, but it's almost always busy, so adding one to the Master Suite is a great idea!

The new laundry closet will have doors once completed.  The lighter color paint really brightens up the room!   It's going to be awesome!
